Our client is currently looking for Electrical Engineers at all levels to join their team supporting large multi-discipline Oil & Gas projects. These positions are in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Electrical Design Basis for Projects.
• Prepare and reviewElectrical Equipment Specifications, electrical single line diagrams, wiring diagrams and schematics, Area classifications, electrical load and equipment lists, and Electrical system studies (such as short circuit calculations, time current coordination, load flow, motor starting and harmonic analysis using SKM and ETAP software).
• Perform Engineering calculations.
• Review the work of others to ensure consistency and integrity of design throughout the project.
• Prepare engineering man-hour estimates and provide input into project schedules.
• Provide engineering support during construction including field engineering, inspection, and special studies.
• Set realistic expectations and ensure assigned projects are completed according to schedule and within budget.
• Visit job-sites to evaluate site, project requirements, and conditions.
• Analyze the designs of vendors or subcontractors providing specific equipment.
• Review and/or approve vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Visit vendor facilities to inspect equipment for compliance with requirements/specifications.
• Adhere to safe design practices, while focusing on identifying cost saving opportunities.
• Manage workload, budgets, and project resources, requesting assistance as necessary.
• Interact and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other consultants.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ year’s oil and gas experience with Electrical background.
• Professional Engineer (Preferred)

General:

• The positions will be based in Houston Downtown.
• Possibility of 2 to 3 two-week international trips.
• The anticipated time duration is up to oneyear.

Responsibilities:

• Main job role is to provide engineering expertise and support to Owner’s Engineering groups.
• Provide technical support for pipeline operating Group, which includes troubleshoot major pipelineupsetsand/orchronicoperationalproblemsandtoidentifyimprovementopportunities, potential problems, and remedies to existingproblems.
• ProvidetechnicalleadintheevaluationofFlowAssurancetechnologiestoimprovepipelines’ performance.
• Develop plans and road maps for reviewing and incorporating new technologies including preliminaryeconomics.
• Conducthydraulicsimulationsstudiesusinghydraulicsimulationsoftware’ssuchasSPS,PIPESIM, andOLGA,andutilizehydraulicmodelsfornewandexistingfacilitiestoconductpipelinecapacity assessment and identify pipelinebottlenecks.
• Preparepreliminaryscopeofworkforpipelinestodebottleneckexistingfacilitiesordesignnew facilities.
• Coordinatetheexecutionofpipelinecapacityincreasestudieswithpipelineoperatingfacilities and detailed engineering design contractor and / or Vendors. This would involve setting the designbasisandscopeofworkasrequireensuringstudyissufficientlycomprehensivetosatisfy objective.
• Create/ Update Engineering Standards related to FlowAssurance.
• Support flow assurance design and engineering activities for new projects in conceptual, pre- FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineeringphases.
• Develop new and/or deliver existing technical courses forengineers.
• Present technical papers in major international conferences and issue papers in reputable pipeline and simulationorganization.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in ChemicalEngineering.
• 10 years’ experience in Flow Assurance relatedareas,
• Working directly with Pipeline Operations including Single Phase (Oil, Gas, Water, and Refined Products) and Multiphase (Sour Crude, SourGas).
• Design experience in order to take a lead role to perform studies and design activities for pipelineprojects.
• Hydraulic Simulation modelling such as SPS, PIPESIM, andOLGA.
• Experience in pipeline related performance enhancers such as DRA, Hydrate Inhibition,etc.
• Membership of a recognized professional institute ispreferred.

Certifications:

Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Power Electronics:

We are seeking a Power System Analysis & Design Specialist recognized as an expert in the field of system analysis and design. The candidate shall provide technical expertise and support to our Engineering group in the development of facility designs, power system studies, protection, and solutions to unusual operating and maintenance problems. The candidate shall have knowledge of special studies such as but not limited to harmonics, switching transient, and stability. The applicant role includes identifying pertinent new technologies to enhance company profitability and productivity. He will be responsible for maintaining and incorporates new, cost-effective solutionsindesignthroughourEngineeringStandardsandDesignBestPractices.RepresentstheCompany in industry joint programs to improve designs and specifications. Participates as a technical expert or arbitrator in Contract disputes. Undertakes special assignments requiring extensive technical experience and discretion when dealing with outsideorganizations.

BASIC CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have the following experience and competencies:
• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering; a MS is aplus.
• Minimum of 10-15 years in the area of power system analysis and design preferably in Oil andGas.
